A tiny moth with a conspicuous yellow cross band and extremely long antennae. Brown wings with faint yellowish vertical stripes and one yellow cross band. The antennae of the ♂ can be 5 times the body length, for the ♀ twice as long. Found on plants in moist open areas in forests. The caterpillars feed on the anemone. ⇔ wsp. 16-24 mm LA: There are several small moths with long antennae but the yellow band is distinctive.
