Brown orange wings, top surface front wing black white marked tips. Under surface black white marked as well but orange tips. Body black with white dots. Sometimes in large groups at road verges and it prefers the GOMPHOCARPUS FRUTICOSUS (Silkweed). ⇔ wsp. 70-80 mm LA: ≈ same colours as ♀ HYPOLIMNAS MISIPPUS (Danaid eggfly).
