Small striped spider with relatively short legs. The hairy rear end is brown and white striped, as is the head. The legs are less clearly marked. At the front there are 2 large eyes, the other eyes are smaller at the sides giving it almost 360-degree visual coverage. The ♂ has striking large extrusions at the front for catching prey (chelicerae). Has very good eyesight and is able to hunt in full sunlight, they do not make a web but sneak up and jump on the prey while being secured with thread. Likes sunny walls of houses but can be found inside as well. ⇔ l. 5-7 mm
