Grey woodlouse with long curved feelers, rough back, 7 pairs of legs and 2 short tails. When threatened it can retract all its legs within its armour. Likes moist areas both inside and around the house as well as in the woods. ⇔ l. 14-18 mm syn. Common rough woodlouse LA: ≈ Often confused with the ONISCUS ASELLUS (common woodlouse) which has white marks on the back.
