Brown-grey pig with hook teeth on the outside and long light tusks. Warts on the cheeks. ♂ has two pairs and ♀ has one pair warts. Lives in a family or same-gender groups. Sleeps in abandoned cavities/burrows and enters them in reverse. When running the tail is elevated. ⇔ hbl. 90-152 cm, sh. 55-85 cm, tl. 35-50 cm
