Large dark pink head with a white eyebrow and sturdy beak. Breast is dark pink with white stripes, the back is olive green, wings have a purple-blue glow. Colours are less bright as other rollers. Look for the striped throat and breast that will identify this bird. Like other rollers mostly on high lookout points with a clear view around for prey on the surface. ⇔ l. 35-40 cm
