A grey back and head with lighter rump and belly. Beak black with bluish white, long tail and a conspicuous crest. In bushes with thorns, mostly in groups. Crawls like a mouse through the bushes, more hanging than sitting like normal birds. Often chatting in groups. ⇔ l. 32-34 cm
