Small dark falcon, black eye mask and whiskers with a white throat and neck. The belly is striped with a chestnut coloured underbelly, grey back and long wings. Hunts for insects caught and eaten on the wing. Hunts smaller birds as well. ⇔ l. 32-34 cm LA: ≈ The long wings make it look like a large APUS APUS (Swift).
