Shiny/metallic blue (♂) or green (♀) damselfly. The top of the ♂ wings are partly black, base and tip are transparent, wings of the ♀ are transparent green. Lives in large groups along the fast flowing water. Eats insects that are caught in flight. ⇔ l. 45-48 mm LA: ≈ The ♂ is often confused with the CALOPTERYX VIRGO (Beautiful demoiselle) which has completely dark wings. They are often seen together.
