Chubby body with short legs, thick yellow-brown fur with a vague black stripe on the back. The belly is lighter. Lives in colonies with a strict hierarchy. Chooses rocks with cavities or bushes and trees. Mainly active early or late however also when moonlight is present. ⇔ hbl. 30-58 cm, sh. 23-25 cm, tl. 20-31 cm
