Orange with black spots and a clear black spot close to the body. This spot is also visible on the underside. The underside is yellow-orange white marked with black lines in between. ⇔ wsp. 28-38 mm syn. CLOSSIANA SELENE LA: ≈ Looks like the BOLORIA EUPHROSYNE (Pearl-bordered fritillary) which has one central marking on the underside and no black spots.
