Green hairy crab-shaped spider with white drawing. The front part has a white length stripe. The abdomen is lighter in colour with three length stripes, the outer ones of which extend to a double white cross line. At the front of the abdomen, on the heart area, there is usually a pink-red spot, this spot is especially large at ♂. ♂ have red-pointed probes, the probes of ♀ are green. Hunts prey from tree leaves or flowers. ⇔ l. ♂ 4-5 mm, ♀ 7-9 mm Lives only in the Mediterranean area. The genus HERIAEUS are all very similar and characteristic of the Mediterranean region. LA: ≈ The DIAEA DORSATA (Green crab spider) has a brown abdomen. ≈ The MICROMMATA VIRESCENS (Green huntsman spider) has striking black white eyes.
