Slim brown beetle with striking striped probes. The back shield is dark brown with a yellow orbit on the middle that runs over the neck shield, here are 2 more yellow stripes. The probes have a very broad base and are further black and white striped. Body brown with yellow, legs gray. Often seen on thistle plants. ⇔ l. 10-14 mm The markings are characteristic of this species.
