Slender blue thrush. ♂ is completely dull blue with a black shine on the wings and it often looks black. ♀ is without blue but with a dark brown back, and the belly and face are beige and brown mottled, it looks a bit scale like. Lives in a rocky mountain environment. ⇔ l. 21-23 cm The national bird of Malta. Both resident and migratory bird. LA: ≈ Has the model of a TURDIDAE (Thrush), but colour, drawing and location differ.
