A small metal green butterfly, the rear wings are grey. The long sturdy antennae are feathered on the ♂ and thread like on the ♀. The caterpillar is small, plump and with white, brown and red length lines. Mostly found in south and central Europe. ⇔ wsp. 20-25 mm LA: ≈ There are several green ZYGAENIDAE (Burnet moths) all similar. They are separated by location.
