Small grey-white butterfly, the top surface is white, the ♂ has a grey marking at the tip that is indistinct or absent for the ♀. The under surface is white with quirky grey bands, Mostly found on legume, both caterpillars as butterflies. ⇔ wsp. 30-40 mm LA: ≈ The LEPTIDEA DUPONCHELI (Eastern wood white) has a greenish under surfaced, often with yellow-tipped antennae. ≈ The PIERIS RAPAE (Small white) has more point wing tips and a yellowish under surface.
