Yellow butterfly with light markings and dark brown-black stripes. Mostly spotted at the start of summer. ⇔ wsp. 25-32 mm Typical for skippers is the large head, sturdy body and spread rear wings while the front wings are upswept. LA: ≈ Very similar to the HESPERIA COMMA (Silver-spotted skipper), which has more defined markings. ≈ The THYMELICUS SYLVESTRIS (Small skipper) misses the lighter markings on the under surface.
